Every year Aveda celebrates Earth month to raise awareness of an important global environment issue; clean water. The Aveda Institutes of Vermont bring you the Fashion Show of the Spring with Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. Catwalk for Water is to benefit the Lake Champlain Committee in all their efforts to keep our lake safe and clean for all. There will be raffles and prizes from local Vermont companies, along with a cash bar and DJ to entertain all night.
O’Brien’s Aveda Institute and Aveda Institute Williston are proud to be back again at Art’s Riot for Catwalks for Water all to benefit the Lake Champlain Committee. One of the ways we fundraise is by hosting Catwalks for Water, an annual green carpet event during which local Aveda salons and Institutes come together to raise money for Earth Month by showcasing their inspiration, creativity, and technical skills in hair, make-up and fashion. One of the wonderful things about Catwalks for Water is that we strive to fund the event entirely by donations from community-minded businesses and people. As an Aveda Institute, it is our mission to help give back to our community while bettering ourselves and the educational practice our students receive. The Lake Champlain Committee (LCC) is known for its efforts to preserve Lake Champlain for years to come. This Earth Month, it is our goal to help them raise funds for all that the LCC does and for what it can do with more help.
