Mo·sa·ic: a picture or pattern produced by arranging together small colored pieces of hard material, such as stone, tile or glass. Or in this case, foraged musicians from different bands forming a fresh and singular musical experience, never to be repeated.

The Mosaic band, as a concept, is simple. When you put great players in a great room together, something great is bound to happen. There’s spontaneous magic written in its bones and you have to be there to experience it for yourself.  And duh, the Golden Eagle is like right down the road so go big and get a room.

Bob Wagner, guitar / vocals (Kat Wright). Long red braid. Gibson SG. Creston Tele. Professional pick dropper. Probably playing out of an amp he borrowed from someone the day of the gig. Also the one putting the band together and likely screaming his lungs out on a blues.

Craig Brodhead, guitar (Turkuaz). An increasingly familiar face in VT. Funk fusion guitar Jedi. Goldtop Les Paul. No one shreds harder. Anywhere. Seriously. Craig can be seen making audiences jump for joy with his guitar and his winning smile at ALL the places good music is played.

Corey Wilhelm, drums / percussion / vibes master (Bombino). Newcomer to the Mosaic band. Tours the globe relentlessly with hard driving desert guitar master, Bombino. Corey’s personal motto: speak softly and carry extra sticks.

Josh Weinstein, bass / vocals (Kat Wright). Vintage P Bass. Knows how to set it up and when to hold it down. He’s basically a Teddy Ruxpin doll meets James Jamerson by way of Oteil Burbridge.

Tyler Mast, keys (Joshua Panda & the Hot Damned). The dude has twins AND still lugs his Hammond B3 and Leslie to gigs. He’s a god and we are all mere mortals.

Sean Preece, drums / percussion (Honky Tonk Crowd). All we are sayinggggg … is Give Preece A Chance. Sean is a musical savant: drums, guitar, vocals and probably a bunch of things we don’t even know about yet. It’s scary the things he can do with all the instruments.

Expect to dance, funky freak outs, hard left turns, break-downs, ramp-ups and plenty of guitar alchemy. And expect at least one hit from the 80s or 90s you definitely did not see coming.
