Brickdrop is a Vermont-based fusion outfit comprised of two saxophones, guitar, bass, and drums. Forged by members' experiences in various jazz, funk, rock, and R&B groups, the band's sound difficult is to pigeonhole. Their live performances are unpredictable, with sets moving from sweeping instrumental ballads to hard driving rock riffs. Sometimes, guitarist Ben Bivins even raffles dinner hams to lucky members of the audience (seriously, this has happened). Over the years, members of the band have shared the stage with touring acts such as Kung Fu, Twiddle, Huntertones, Big Mean Sound Machine, Dopapod, and Annie in the Water. In the future, expect to see Brickdrop (and maybe even more ham) in a town near you.
